By using the TeleThukha Android app or telethukha.com, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Not medical advice
TeleThukha provides general health information, symptom guidance, and community discussion. It is not a substitute for a licensed doctor, midwife, or emergency services. Triage suggestions come from structured rules and tools — not a diagnosis. Always seek professional care for emergencies, pregnancy complications, or worsening symptoms.
2. Appropriate use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for illegal purposes or to harm others
- Post false, harassing, or dangerous content in the forum
- Attempt to bypass security, scrape at abusive rates, or reverse-engineer server endpoints
- Share another person’s private health information without permission
3. Community forum
Forum posts may be moderated or removed. Answers from community members or CHW volunteers are not prescriptions. Verified badges indicate moderation status, not a guarantee of medical correctness.
4. Accounts
You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping credentials secure. Guest mode stores data locally on your device; signing in may enable future sync features when available.
5. Online assistant and AI features
The optional AI assistant explains and orchestrates on-device tools. Connected features send text to telethukha.com and Anthropic (Claude) after you consent. Output may contain errors. Do not rely on it alone for medication changes, emergency decisions, or diagnosis. See the Privacy policy for how chat data is handled.
6. Photo document explain
If you photograph a prescription, lab result, or clinic note, you agree the image may be processed by our server and Anthropic to produce a plain-language explanation. Verify all medical information with a qualified professional. You are responsible for ensuring you have permission to photograph documents you upload.
7. Intellectual property
TeleThukha branding, app code, and bundled content are protected by applicable law. Health articles may include placeholder or draft content pending clinical review. You may not copy or redistribute the app or site for commercial use without permission.
8. Availability
We strive for reliable offline and online service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change as we improve safety and clinical review.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TeleThukha and its contributors are not liable for decisions you make based on app output, forum posts, or assistant responses. Use at your own risk.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date. Continued use means acceptance.
